Actually yes! There are currently two methods to achieve this goal. The first is through hair transplantation and the second through a surgical intervention known as reduction frontoplasty
This surgery to reduce the size of the forehead, consists of moving the scalp line forward, thus decreasing the size of the forehead between 2.5 – 3 cm, this depends a lot on the laxity of the patients’ tissues. Results can be seen immediately after the procedure is performed.
The incision is made inside the scalp. The scar is almost imperceptible as the hair grows back in the area covering it. In cases where the scar is slightly visible, it is possible to perform hair grafting or micro-tattoos to cover it.
